There will be a very fine meteor Spectacle this week, The Taurid Meteors (debris from comet 2p/Encke). There won't be so many as the incredible Persied
Spectacle in September, but what they lack in quantity they make up in quality. The Taurid Meteors are renowned for there amazing style... slower moving, longer lasting and much brighter than
the usual variety. For those of us in the city try to get outside the city boundaries where artificial lights don't brighten the darkness. Wrap up warm, pack a hot drink flask,
and a ground sheet to lay back on and look up to the stars.
